Dynamic Island may be coming to iPad and Mac

On some devices, the "island" will be completely virtual.
Last year's iPhone 14 Pro was a hit, thanks in large part to Dynamic Island. The new interactive cutout added not only new animations, but also features like quick music controls, timer tracking, taxis, and delivery food. He also brought back to the iPhone a recognizable design from afar, which the “bangs” of the iPhone X achieved at one time.
The success of the experiment is also confirmed by rumors that in 2023 the entire iPhone 15 series will receive Dynamic Island. And now an insider under the nickname 9:41 (previously he uncovered list of innovations in iOS 17) informedthat in the future the "island" will be added to new devices - including iPad and Mac.
The author claims that Dynamic Island support will be added to all Apple systems with the exception of tvOS and watchOS. On the Mac, the new design will first appear in 2-3 years, where Dynamic Island will be the new menu bar.
He also notesthat Dynamic Island will remain even when the screens no longer need to make holes for Face ID sensors and they go under the display. On such devices, it will work completely virtually.
All of this, of course, is just a rumor. Even if Apple does consider such a possibility, it is far from certain that this will reach the final products. Remember at least the long-suffering AirPower charging, which Apple even publicly announced, but you never released it for sale. But, given that the “bangs” from the iPhone smoothly migrated into laptops, larger devices with Dynamic Island might have a chance.
