AI has been taught to evaluate the attractiveness of people. Check yourself too

American art collective MSCHF created Hot Chat 3000 service. This is a dating site with artificial intelligence built into it.

Attractiveness rating is determined using OpenAI's large CLIP machine learning model. They trained her on millions of selfies with a description of the appearance of the depicted people.

As a result, the service learned to evaluate users in a few seconds and select a pair for them from their “weight category”. The rating is on a scale of 1 to 10 based on the submitted photo - so the better your shot, the more likely you are to get a "hot" score.

The Network notes that the sunglasses "increase the rating to about an eight." But with the definition of gender, the service has problems. Some men complain that Hot Chat 3000 invites them to flirt with guys instead of girls.

We tested the service on celebrity photos.

He rated Britney Spears at 9.2 points, but he could not find a pair for her from the same hot league - there were no suitable people in the database.

Quentin Tarantino only got 2.4.

But we fixed it by putting sunglasses on him - 3.7 points (not up to eight, but not bad either - life hack works).

Singer Miley Cyrus service unexpectedly put only 3.9 points. Bad luck.

For some reason, Hot Chat 3000 estimated the appearance of Keanu Reeves much longer than usual, but as a result it gave 9.1 points. It seems that we have found a pair of Britney Spears, which, through the efforts of the service, could wither away alone. (There is indeed a bug with the selection of a couple, the chat suggested that the actor flirt with another guy, whom we did not recognize).

It also took almost half a minute to evaluate Megan Fox (although the service evaluated the first candidates in seconds). But if we were this actress, our expectations would have more than paid off - 9.3 points.

Ana de Armas surpassed Fox's record with 9.6 points. And here it is difficult to disagree with AI.

Chat even managed to find a match for her.

Jason Statham managed to earn 8.2 points.

And Leonardo DiCaprio is slightly less - 8.1 points.
