Galaxy S24 Ultra battery will be upgraded with electric vehicle technology
Miscellaneous / / April 27, 2023
Samsung plans use technology found in electric vehicles to extend the battery life of their flagship gadgets. We are talking about a special method of "laying" the battery.
The operating time is called stacking. This is when battery components such as cathodes and anodes are combined in a special way for better energy density. Now this method is used in electric vehicle batteries.
The South Korean company wants to use it in its smartphones and tablets as early as next year. The first gadget with such a "laying" may be the Galaxy S24 Ultra. It is assumed that the smartphone will be equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery. The new technology can add up to 10% capacity.
SamMobile writes that Samsung will not be a pioneer here. The stacking method is already used by the South Korean LG. Although it is not yet clear in which gadgets.
