What order should I watch Evangelion in?

You should start watching with the original Evangelion. For 26 episodes, it keeps the viewer in suspense, perfectly balancing between fantastic thriller and complex drama. And visual images are remembered for a lifetime.
2. Evangelion: Death and Rebirth

In particular, the authors added a lot of extra touches to the characters' characters and devoted more time to the relationship between Shinji, Asuka, and Rei. It will appeal to those who want to get to know the characters better.
6. Evangelion 3.0: You (Won't) Fix

This film received a lot of criticism from fans as many considered it an exploitation of the original. However, it more accurately reveals the relationship between the characters and tells stories of characters that viewers have only glimpsed before.
7. Evangelion 3.0 + 1.0: Once Upon a Time
