An insider told what will be Apple's AR / VR headset

Well-known insider and Bloomberg contributor Mark Gurman shared with fresh details about Apple's mixed reality headset, which may already be presented at WWDC in June. We chose the most interesting.

• The headset will have two ports: USB-C for data transfer and its own magnetic port for connecting the battery.
• The headset requires an external battery, which will resemble a MagSafe battery in size and shape. It will provide about two hours of battery life.
• Thanks to an external battery, the headset itself has been made lighter, which should improve user comfort. However, the obvious disadvantage is that the battery is connected to the device with a clumsy wire. And the user, apparently, must keep the battery in a pocket of clothing.
• Expected battery life is around 2 hours, so hardcore headset users will need to carry multiple batteries around.
• The battery pack itself and the cable are one and cannot be separated. On the other hand, the cable connects to a magnetic port on the headset, which locks into place with a twisting motion when inserted. This means that the wire cannot fall out during use.

• The headset will be a premium device. And it will be felt both in the design using glass and carbon fiber, and in the technical equipment: two 4K displays, about a dozen sensors and cameras, an M2 chip.

The gadget is expected to cost around $3,000 (≈245,000 rubles). The trademark filings suggest the headset will be called "Apple Reality Pro". And a more affordable version of the Buse set-top box Pro device should come out later.
