Xiaomi has announced the Sound Move smart speaker. It works 21 hours without recharging

Beyond the flagship smartphone, bracelet And tablets Xiaomi also showed the Sound Move Bluetooth speaker today. It has a durable aluminum chassis and offers 4-channel audio with Harman/Kardon tuning.

The speaker complies with IP66 waterproof and dustproof standard. It offers a different sound depending on the position. In vertical mode, it produces a louder and more saturated sound, and in horizontal mode - more voluminous.

Xiaomi claims that the sound quality is improved by the double symmetrical structure. Along the edges are high-frequency speakers, front and rear - passive radiators. The result is rich and full sound up to 90 dB.

Sound Move supports a variety of connectivity options including AirPlay 2, Bluetooth 5.3, and wired over USB-C. The novelty can work in conjunction, and you can synchronize up to eight pieces at the same time.

The novelty is able to work up to 21 hours when playing via Bluetooth and up to 5.5 days when using it as a smart speaker for smart home control via Xiao AI. For recharging, USB-C is used (maximum power is 22 W).

The column weighs 568 g and has dimensions of 17.7 × 5.55 × 5.55 cm: it can be held with one hand.

Xiaomi Sound Move was priced at 699 yuan (≈8,300 rubles). Sales in China will start in the coming days, the international release and support for other voice assistants have not yet been reported.
