Battles with monsters in augmented reality, including in a team with other players.
Studio Niantic, best known for Pokemon Go, has announced a partnership with Capcom to create a game based on the Monster Hunter franchise.
The new game is called Monster Hunter Now, and the gameplay will be something very similar to Pokemon Go. According to the plot, the Monster universe Hunter somehow leaked into our world, and players will be able to face monsters and various resources on the map of the real peace.
The game will use a formula familiar to the franchise: hunting monsters brings different materials to creating better weapons and armor, which, in turn, will be needed to hunt even more dangerous creatures.
Like the original console game, Monster Hunter Now will let you hunt with friends. But there will be no long and exhausting battles - all battles will last a maximum of 75 seconds.
Another unique feature is that players will be able to tag monsters on the go so they can be fought at home or elsewhere. And yes, Now will feature adorable Palico animal companions.
Niantic informsthat Monster Hunter Now will be released in September on iOS and Android. Will you play? Write in the comments.
