And uncontrolled ChatGPT, according to the billionaire, has a chance to destroy civilization.
Tech mogul Elon Musk has said he will soon launch his own AI chatbot, which he calls TruthGPT. About this he told during an exclusive interview with Fox News' Tucker Carlson.
Musk noted that his alternative to the sensational ChatGPT already being developed by the most progressive programmers.
I'm going to launch what I call TruthGPT, or the ultimate truth-seeking AI that tries to understand the nature of the universe. And I think that this might be the best path to security in the sense that an AI that cares about understanding the universe is unlikely to destroy humans, because we are an interesting part of it.

The interviewer, speaking of Musk, recalled that the billionaire helped fund the development of ChatGPT in order to "control it", but, unfortunately, this did not happen.
Basically, it was taken away from him, and now it's a commercial product owned by Microsoft and Google. But his position has never changed: if we do not slow down, it could lead to the destruction of everything we have. It's as dangerous as a nuclear weapon.

Musk also added that the uncontrolled development of such technologies could have a disastrous effect on the existence of humanity as a whole if they are not properly managed.
AI is more dangerous than, say, the mismanagement of aircraft design, manufacturing maintenance, or production of automobiles in the sense that it has the potential, however small this probability may seem, but it does not trivial; it has the potential to destroy civilization.
