Google Recommends Urgent Chrome Update - Zero-Day Vulnerability Found

The first zero-day vulnerability CVE-2023-2033 was discovered in the Chrome browser in 2023. In this regard, Google released emergency update to fix the exploit.
By data Bleeping Computer, the breach in the system has probably been around since the beginning of the year. With its help, attackers can install spyware on third-party devices.
Google describes it as "a bug that causes confusion in the Chrome V8 JavaScript engine." The term "zero-day vulnerability" is usually used for exploits that were not detected at the testing stage and are not yet known to antiviruses.
“Access to bug information and links may be restricted until the majority of users receive a fix. We will also keep the restrictions if the bug exists in a third-party library that other projects that have not yet been fixed depend on, ”the Google blog post says.
Update 112.0.5615.121 is available now for Chrome users on Windows, Mac, and Linux.
