James Gunn talks about possible DC-Marvel crossover in movies

The further fate of the Guardians of the Galaxy also became clear.
Multiverses are everywhere in cinema right now. It's a big theme in recent Marvel movie comics,"Everything everywhere and at once"to match the name collects all possible awards (including"Oscar”), DC is also going to plunge into alternative realities in “Flash».
However, although the very idea of multiverses suggests that literally anything is possible, individual multiverses are rarely pushed together. But for DC and Marvel fans who'd love to see their favorite characters in the same movie, there's a silver lining in the form of James Gunn. While he continues to work on the MCU, but with the release of the third "Guardians of the Galaxy» passes in DC. If anyone can bring two cinematic universes together, it's him.
That's what Gunn answered Empire to the question about such a crossover:
With me in charge of [DC], I'm convinced it's more likely than ever. But there are still many years before that. I think first we have to define what we're doing [with DC]. I'd be lying if I said we didn't discuss it. But all the discussions so far have been very superficial and more for fun.

In the same interview, Gunn noted that his departure from the MCU does not mean the end of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. He confirmed that not all heroes will live to see the end credits, but the remaining ones may well receive continuations of their stories - in the form of solo films or joining teams like the Avengers or the already new generation of Guardians Galaxies.
