8. In the Mood for Love (2000)

“This film is an aesthetic beauty. The sensual atmosphere turns it into a hypnotic concert,” critics of the publication say.

6. Spirited Away (2001)

A film by the Coen brothers about bohemian Manhattan in the 1960s, in which the folk singer Llewyn, without a home or money, tries to find himself.
1. One and Two (2000)
Although the film was completed in 1999, Edward Young's grandiose opus did not premiere until the spring of 2000. The film's success, including the Best Director award at the Cannes Film Festival, cemented the director's reputation as a major figure in the Taiwanese new wave that emerged about a decade earlier, the authors note rating.
The film tells about a 40-year-old man who feels tired from family and work problems and does not know how to live on. However, his life changes dramatically when he meets his former lover.
