Russian "Medovik" topped the ranking of the 100 best cakes in the world

Just the other day, the culinary publication TasteAtlas presented anti-rating the worst dishes in the world, where the first place was at the salad from Yakutia, and a little earlier a list of the best cakes was published. The top 100 was headed by the Russian "honey cake».

1. "Medovik" is a cake common in Russia and the countries of the former USSR. It usually consists of three honey cakes with a layer of sour cream.

2."Sernik" - cheesecake from Poland, which is made from eggs, sugar and curd cheese. Often raisins, chocolate mousse, fruit and jelly are also added on top.

3. Pave is a Brazilian no-bake layer cake. It consists of a combination of biscuit cookies, cream, eggs, condensed milk and chocolate.

10. Argentine Chocolate Cake is a dessert inspired by the famous Italian tiramisu. It's made from chocolate chip cookies. dulce de leche and cream cheese.
