Ocean Art Underwater Photo 2022 selects the best images of the underwater world

The winners of the prestigious Ocean Art Underwater Photo 2022 competition have been announced. The jury considered thousands of entries from 96 countries.

The best photo in 2022 was recognized as "Octopus Mom" ​​by Kat Zhou from Florida. According to the author, she managed to capture the last days of the mollusk's life.

The best wide-angle shot shows a shark trio at sunset in South Fakarava, French Polynesia. Its author is René Capozola.

The winner in the Portrait category was Kuo-Wei Kao and his "Mirror Reflection". In the photo - a successful reflection of the crab.

This year, a new section appeared at the competition - “Mobile shooting”. The first winner was photographer Alessandro Buzzicelli's Cassiopeia in Blue. The picture was taken in Sardinia.
