The classic compact laptop may come with a larger 15.5-inch version.
According to Taiwan's DigiTimes, Apple plans to release a new MacBook Air in the second half of 2023, and it may be equipped with a 3nm chip.
It is assumed that this processor will be the latest Apple M3. It will provide higher performance and improved power efficiency compared to the company's current 5nm chips.
Apple's chip manufacturing partner, TSMC, began mass production of 3nm chips back in late December. The M3 in the next MacBook Air could be one of the company's first 3nm chips along with the A17 Bionic for the iPhone 15 Pro later this year.
Previously appeared on the web messages on the development of the Apple MacBook Air with a 15.5-inch screen. It can get the same design as the 13 inch MacBook Air, released in 2022 - with flat edges, a large Force Touch trackpad, a keyboard with function keys, a notch and much more.
Some insiders believe that both Air novelties will be shown at the same time, giving users a choice of two sizes.
