"Dracula" 1931 - the first film adaptation novel Bram Stoker, in which the characters had the same names as in the book. Bela Lugosi not only played the iconic hero, but in many ways it was the actor and crew who defined the classic image of the vampire.

Probably Roxburgh's Dracula is the most naive character based on Stoker's novel. In the film, he is much weaker than Van Helsing, but he has an interesting backstory. It can be said that Van Helsing does not film the book, but tries to supplement it. So, Dracula's castle - in the spirit steampunk, and the hero himself collaborates with Victor Frankenstein.

Dracula 2000 attempts to bring the story from the original to modern America. Not only this is surprising, but also the age of the protagonist - he is played by a 30-year-old Gerard Butlerwho constantly speaks in whispers. Linkin Park, Slayer, SOAD and other metal stars play in the background.
Dracula 2000 is probably the most corrected version of the story, which is why it is valuable. But to call the film a good one is unlikely to succeed, it is rather comical.

The film is a parody of the classic Dracula works. Leslie Nielsen does not frighten, but makes laugh, mocking the image - for this reason, there is even a battle with ancient Moldavian words in the film. Given that several dozen bad films have been made about the count, the parody looks quite natural - it makes fun of the superficial depiction of a vampire.
