OnePlus launches Buds Pro 2 top-of-the-line headphones with dual drivers

Together with a new smartphone One Plus 11 On January 4, the Buds Pro 2 headphones were presented, which also have flagship positioning. They are made in the form factor of in-channel “plugs” and will be available in the original green, white and black colors.

OnePlus Buds Pro 2 received a new MelodyBoost dual driver system: an 11mm driver is responsible for low frequencies, and an additional 6mm planar diaphragm tweeter for clear vocals. Sound tuning was handled by experts from the Dynaudio audio brand.

The headphones support Dolby Atmos for surround sound, and with one of the upgrades, LHDC 5.0 codec support up to 1Mbps for enhanced audio detail in 4 times.

Of course, there is also support for active noise cancellation (ANC) - dual microphones are able to muffle and “remove” extraneous sounds with a volume of up to 48 dB. Triple microphones are already used for the headset mode.

The battery life of the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 is up to 9 hours without using ANC and up to 39 hours with recharge from the case. The case itself supports wireless charging and fast wired charging.

Other highlights include Bluetooth 5.3 support, ultra-low latency mode (53ms), multi-device connectivity, and IP55 dust and splash resistance. The price of the accessory is 899 yuan (≈9,500 rubles).
