2022 has become a very difficult year for Russian cinema. There were no high-profile prime ministers who received popular love. As well as scandalous pictures, inviting viewers to cinemas. But a chance was given to copyright films that could have been lost at another time.
The best Russian film of 2022, Lifehacker considers "Nedetsky Dom". The painting by Mikhail Raskhodnikov demonstrates not only the horrors that occur in orphanages, but also the reasons that prevent putting things in order.
Andrei Mast (played by Ivan Okhlobystin) gets the position of director in the orphanage. He sees that the educators do not worry about the children, and the property is stolen, not reaching the orphans. Andrei decides that it is impossible to live like this, so he is preparing to restore order, requiring only the observance of the rules from the children. However, the pupils of the institution do not agree with him.
"Non-Children's Home" is an emotional bright drama about a place that can hardly be called bright. The confrontation between children and adults, as well as the person and the system, turns into a series of minor conflicts, where each side is right in its own way. By the way, the viewer did not appreciate the picture - fees do not exceed 150 thousand dollars.
But the historical fantasy “Heart of Parma” from the author of the films “Upward Movement” and “Metro” Anton Megerdichev unexpectedly became the leader of the Russian box office in 2022, having collected more than $14 million. The film tells about medieval battles on the territory of modern Russia. The Russian prince and his beloved Tiche cannot be together, because they belong to different nations. They must not only overcome the prejudices of their time, but also be saved from the evil spirits that attacked the Russian lands. By the way, large collections barely cover the budget, which amounted to 714 million rubles.
"Finnik" - a cartoon from the authors of "Smesharikov». It turned out to be a colorful story about a brownie who helps a girl save the city. The children's detective was liked by the audience - "Finnik" has collected more than 8 million dollars in the Russian market.
"Mr. Knockout" tells the story of the Soviet boxer Valery Popenchenko. It turned out to be a standard sports drama about a man who must overcome himself - however, the audience appreciated the picture, and it collected more than $ 3 million at the box office. Perhaps thanks to Sergei Bezrukov, who played the role of an athlete's coach: in Russian cinema, the influence of stars is still insanely great. Director - Artyom Mikhalkov, son of Nikita Mikhalkov.
The film "One" is based on real events. In 1981, in the USSR, a passenger plane collides with another plane and crashes. Only Larisa survives, flying with her husband. Now she can only hope that rescuers will find her in the taiga.
"Nika" tells the story of the poetess Nika Turbina. She became popular at the age of 8, but stopped writing poetry when she grew up. In the picture, 27-year-old Nika is trying to understand what happened to her and why she is no longer able to create. The film was the first full-length work of Vasilisa Kuzmina. The debut turned out to be excellent, but the fees (200 thousand dollars) hint that there will be no more such films.
“Calendar ma (y) i” by Victoria Fanasyutina is a film adaptation of a well-known book about a magic stone that changes the course of time. The life of the three teenagers who started the mechanism begins to move in the opposite direction. Now they are waiting for dangerous adventures for which the guys are not ready.
