In Russia, sales of fake premium headphones have increased

Due to the departure of luxury headphone brands from Russia, sales of fakes have increased significantly. Today, such devices can be found both in marketplaces and in small electronics stores, and their total sales can reach 300 million rubles. In total, 12.2 million wireless headphones were sold in Russia in 11 months, which is 19% more than last year's result for the same period. At the same time, the market declined in money terms, which is largely due to a decrease in interest in Apple headphones - in 2022, their sales in pieces fell by 40%.

According to MTS, JBL remains the market leader in terms of sales of wireless headphones in pieces - the brand occupied 13% of the market, and a year earlier its share was 20.2%. In second place is Xiaomi with a share of 12% (14% a year earlier), and Apple is in third with 6% (last year 11%). Next - Honor with 4% and Samsung with 2%.

In terms of money, Apple (31%), JBL (14%), Samsung (7%) and Honor (4%) remain the leaders. The average check for headphones in January-November decreased by 23% and amounted to 3.2 thousand rubles.
