How to draw Santa Claus

Draw a small semicircle - this will be Grandfather's nose. From the left to the side, draw a line rounded down, and from its edge, draw a smooth, longer line down to the right.

From the edge of the last line, draw another almost straight line to the right. From the left side of the nose, draw a curved line to the side and connect it with another one from the previous one. You will get a wide mustache.

Draw an open mouth under the mustache with a rounded line. Draw oval eyes with black filled pupils to the left and right of the nose. Position the right eye slightly above the other. Above the eyes draw curved wide eyebrows. From the lower edges of the eyes, draw out two short cilia to the sides.

From the middle of the edge of the eyebrow on the left, draw a smooth line to the eye. From it, add a similar dash to the mustache. At the level of the eyebrows, draw a long upward curved line - this will be the bottom edge of the hat. From above, connect the edges with another rounded line.

Draw the top of the cap with a semicircular line. From the right eyebrow, bring down a curved curl. From the mustache, add another one and connect it with a curved line to the cap. On the right side of the face, draw the hair in a similar way.

From the right side of the hair, draw down a few smooth lines, depicting a fluffy beard. Under the mouth, draw something like an oval with a corner on the right side - this will be a mitten.

From the corner down, draw the angular edge of the bag. On the right side of the mitten, draw the edge of the sleeve with a rounded line. On the side, add the sleeve itself - a similar figure is wider. Draw a small line on top - the bend of the sleeve.

To represent the bag, connect the top of the mitten and the right edge of the mustache with a line. From the lower right corner of the hat, draw a rounded line to the right and finish it in the middle of the right edge of the sleeve. From the sleeve, add another feature - a bend on the bag. Draw the beard with smooth lines under the arm.

On the sides, bring down two lines at an angle. Connect them at the bottom with another smooth line. On the left side, draw another vertical one - a cut of a fur coat. At the bottom, add the rounded edge of the fur coat - the fur trim.

What will you need

How to draw Santa Claus

Draw a circle - a sketch of the future head. From the middle of the bottom edge, draw down a slightly rounded long line. At the bottom, add a shorter horizontal smooth line, and under the head even shorter. Connect them on the sides with two rounded lines.

From the bottom of the circle, draw lines that are strongly rounded towards the middle. Draw small ovals at their ends. The right one should be located on the center line, and the other - to the left. At the very bottom, add a sketch of the boots.

Between the ovals - future mittens - draw a straight long line upwards to the left at an angle. On the left, add a slightly curved line to about the middle of the future fur coat, and on the right - to the middle of the edge of the head. In the center of the circle, draw a horizontal line rounded to the right, draw the edge of the cap just above the center of the head and the cap itself above the circle.

Under the hat, add the outlines of the round cheeks and nose. From the edges of the cheeks, draw down rounded lines to the mittens. Under them, continue the lines and connect them to the left with a long vertical line. Connect the edges of the cap and the beard next to the arms with smooth lines.

On the bottom border of the cap, draw wide eyebrows. Below them, add oval eyes with semicircular pupils and dashed eyelashes. Erase the lines inside the beard and draw an open mouth. Repeat the lines of the cheeks below them, and draw the hair on the sides with curved strokes.

Draw a beard, adding angular "hairs" in some places. Circle the lines of the arms brighter and draw the rounded edges of the sleeves next to the ovals. From the ovals themselves, make mittens by adding one angular bend.

Draw a thick tree trunk between the mittens with two lines. Add an oval at the bottom, and inside it is another smaller one. Circle the edges of the fur coat brighter. At the bottom, make a wide fur edge with rounded lines. Erase the extra pencil sketches. Mark the cut of the fur coat and felt boots.

On the Christmas tree, with angular strokes, mark several barely visible tiers. Then, with the help of sketches, draw fluffy twigs. Erase the extra lines. At the bottom of the fur coat, outline ornate patterns.

Draw two small horizontal ovals at some distance from each other - these will be the eyebrows. Between them, as well as on the right and left, draw short smooth lines. Draw up a wavy line from the edges and connect them on top with another one. Draw the rounded top of the hat.

Under the eyes, draw a nose in the form of a semicircle. On the sides, just above him, draw oval eyes with dark pupils. Draw curved short lines from the nose to the right and to the left. From their edges, draw rounded lines towards the nose and connect them with a small dash. Below it, add a curved mouth.

Approximately from the edge of the eyebrows, draw down one line, they will be rounded in different directions. Connect them with strokes with a mustache. Connect the edges with angular lines so that you get a beard. Add a small line below the mouth.

Draw the hair on the sides of the face. Under the left part of the hair, draw a smooth line from the beard upwards. At the bottom left, add another one of the same. Draw the body with two lines.
