«Let me know” is a rubric for the stories of our readers. Every week we launch a survey and look forward to your comments. The most interesting of them end up in articles and collections.
This time we have collected cool team games so that you know exactly what to do during the New Year holidays.
1. salt of life
Gregory
The playing field of "Salt" is a metaphor for the life path. It consists of several segments: "Business", "Study", "Childhood", "Relationships", "Friends", "Children", "Parents", "Life / Death".
Within each of these categories, there are questions that participants need to answer. For example: “Are you ready to forgive betrayal?”, “What was your first job?” or “What conflicts did you have at school?” During the game, you have to make choices that affect its outcome. The main rule is to open your soul to your friends.
Thanks to this game, you become closer to each other, and also realize which life strategies you prefer. In the category of questions "Childhood" you may need napkins!
2. Bunker
Anna
The essence of the game is this: the apocalypse happened. People have a bunker, but not everyone will have enough space in it. To decide who can wait inside and then continue life on earth, cards are dealt to the players. They indicate the main characteristics of their characters: profession, health characteristics, interesting facts.
You need to play in such a way as to convince others that you are worthy of being saved. Whoever gets a place in the bunker wins.
The first time I heard about this game On my birthday. I was at the hotel then. We were taken with 15 strangers to the basement and handed out cards.
I got an interesting role, however, I failed to win! Now I understand that I had to try to get used to my role as much as possible - even as a sexologist - to believe in the characteristics that fell out on the cards, try to find these traits in yourself and talk about them openly and earnestly.
The game is very cool, especially when playing for the first time and with people you don't know!
3. Equivoki
Uma
At first, my friends and I rented this game to try it out. And then they boughtEquivoki”For good, since any gatherings ended with her! Once we sat up until 5 am! The game is very active and emotional.
The rules are simple: you need to throw a die, take a card from the deck and try to explain the word in the way suggested in it: draw it, show it with gestures, mold it from plasticine. The first team to win wins!
The game is designed for 3-4 people. But you can also split into 3-4 teams, which will have an unlimited number of people, and each of them will take turns performing tasks. There are many tasks - enough for everyone. In general, let your imagination run wild and enjoy the game!
4. Secret Keeper
Anonymous
The facilitator comes up with a well-known catchphrase, proverb or a saying. It tells the number of words in the expression. The rest must guess it by asking the leader just so many questions.
Questions and answers can be anything. However, in each answer, one word from the hidden phrase must be hidden.
For example, I somehow got the saying "The first pancake is lumpy." And we got this dialogue:
Participant: When is your birthday?
I'M IN first month of winter, 21st.
Participant: What is feminism for?
I: CrapI have already explained.
Participant: Ha ha, what future awaits us?
Me: Reply stuck lumpy in the throat.
Recording phrases behind the leader is cheating. We agreed not to do this, so that it would be more difficult and interesting to guess.
5. Parsnip
Glory
The first time I tried to play this game at one of the parties, and I really liked it! The bottom line is this: the driver is guessing a word or phrase, and he must explain them to his team with words that begin only with the letter “p”.
For example, once a friend of mine was asked “kokorech” – a Turkish dish similar to kebab, but instead of minced meat there is liver – cow’s internal organs. He explained it this way: "They bake... By gutting artiodactyls... Kidneys, liver... The first few words seem to be about a rooster." In the end, the team figured it out!
If the players are on the right track, you can cheer them up with words that also begin with the letter "p": "Right!", "Think, think," "Try the previous one."
It's funny that later, after the game, for some time in ordinary life you begin to formulate sentences with words that begin only with the letter "p" - such is the "professional deformation".
6. codenames
Lera
Cool game for those who like puzzles on logic and cleverness. First, the participants need to split into two teams and choose captains. They toss a coin to determine who goes first.
Then someone needs to go to the site codenames and tell the participants the code word that the service offered - it will determine the playing field. Most often, the cipher is meaningless: GROZOVK, PUFYR, VOROD and the like.
Next, you need to split up. Captains on their phones enter this cipher on the Codenames website and press the button to go to the table for captains. A pool of words appears, some of which are on the red fields, some on the blue ones. Only they can see this table, it is forbidden to show it to members of their team.
Everyone else on one large common screen (a projector or a laptop is suitable) also enters the code and clicks "To the table for the players." They open the same field, but without color designations.

Those who go first are on the red team, those who go second are on the blue team. Now the task of the captain is to try to explain as many words as possible per turn using one association, and the other members of the team must guess them.
For example, if the table is like the one in the picture above, the red captain could say, “Chemistry. Four". This means that there are four “red” words, somehow related to the topic of chemistry, on the field: solution, mercury, dose and microscope.
Here it is important to set an association that will not confuse team members. For example, if the captain of the Reds said: “Anesthesia. Three,” players might think it’s about solution, dose, and sleep. However, "sleep" is a cell that belongs to the blues, and if it is opened, they will receive a point. If one of the players opens the word on a black background, the team automatically loses.
The team that opens the cells of their color the fastest wins.
7. UNO
Mars
About the card game UNO I found out when we had an offsite corporate event. Since then, I have loved this game.
It can be attended by 2 to 10 people. The goal is to get rid of the cards. Each participant is given 7 pieces. They come in four colors: blue, red, green and yellow. As well as three categories: digital, special and wild.
The player to the left of the dealer goes first. A deck is laid out in the middle of the table, on top - an open card face down. On it, the player needs to put a card of either the same value or the same color. If neither is available, you can throw a wild or special card.
Wild means some kind of action: for example, take a few cards from the deck or make an exchange with other players. A special card allows you to block the neighbor's move or change the direction of movement.
Important! When someone has one card left, he should shout: “Uno!" If this is not done, you will have to get two penalties.
The first person to drop everything is the winner. The rest count points, starting from what cards they have in their hands. The numbers speak for themselves: let's say 8 is 8 points. Special cards - 20, wild - 50. All points go into the bank to the winner. After that, you can start the second round. We usually play up to 500 points. It is very interesting!
8. Crocodile
Love
The game is the simplest. People are divided into two teams. Each person is given a word, which he must depict with gestures and facial expressions, without the help of words.
The demonstration takes 30-40 seconds. If the team members did not guess the word, then the point goes to the opponents. The team with the most points wins.
