Miscellaneous / / April 05, 2023
The phrase "through the thorns to the stars" is the best description of the history of this incredible device.
The Webb Observatory is the largest space telescope with the largest mirror ever launched by mankind. Throughout the construction process, or about 25 years, this miracle of engineering was accompanied by intrigues, scandals and investigations. Because of this, in particular, the telescope has several names.
But no matter how the device is called, its abilities are really amaze. Now that the telescope is in orbit, scientists can look into the history of the earliest galaxies and solve many mysteries of cosmology, learn more about black holes and nebulae, about dark matter and physical processes in space, about distant exoplanets and about our native solar system.
