World One, a supercomputer designed to predict patterns in human civilization, has predicted that life as we know it will end by 2050. About it writes Daily Star.
The machine uses an advanced algorithm to analyze factors such as pollution, natural resource endowment, and birth rates. It has already lived up to several of its predictions in the past, including a decrease in the availability of vital minerals on Earth.
World One also predicted:
- By 2020, life on the planet will enter a critical phase.
- If nothing is done, the quality of life will eventually drop to zero.
- The pollution of the planet will become so severe that it will begin to kill people, and this, in turn, will lead to a decrease in the population below the level of 1900.
- The emergence of environmentally friendly cars and birth control will have little effect on the survival of this world.
The latest forecast says that at this stage, approximately from 2040 to 2050, civilized life on the planet will cease to exist.
The World One supercomputer was created by order of the Club of Rome, an international public organization that is trying to draw the attention of the world community to the global problems of mankind. The Club of Rome organizes large-scale research on a wide range of topics that are used in various sciences.
