It is much easier to say that the solution to these problems has been a different person or department. And to go further to sit out his eight-hour day. Everyone is trying to shift responsibility to others. This is hidden one of the biggest challenges any. And perhaps the biggest. Personal responsibility to solve the problem can only be a proactive way of thinking of each person. It will tell us about it by John Miller.

John Miller - business coach, founder of the consulting company QBQ. Author techniques for the development of personal responsibility (proactivity).
The basis of personal responsibility is just one tool - QBQ (Question Behind Question) - Question after question. It is based on the assumption that the first human reaction to abnormal situations are usually negative and is expressed in the wrong questions. We are trying to find the culprit and find out what led to force majeure, and not concentrate on solving the problem. Thus, if a monitor themselves, and instead of the wrong questions to ask the right, it will help in solving various problems.
QBQ - a tool that allows a person to develop personal responsibility by making the right decisions at the right time.
QBQ entire method can be described in three simple statements:
- All QBQ begin with the words "what", "how", "how" (and not "why", "when" and "who").
- All QBQ contain the pronouns "I" and its derivatives (instead of "them", "we" or "you").
- All QBQ focus on actions.
It seems that everything is simple. But let not the simplicity fool you. In addition to the three basic rules of creation QBQ, author allocates three important ideas:
- No thinking victim complaints, postponing until later and charges.
- You can only change yourself.
- For the cause!
Without awareness of these thoughts is not necessary to take up the creation of QBQ. Stop complaining their colleagues, bosses, bad weather, poor-quality goods. Focus on how to solve a specific problem and prevent its recurrence. Learn to let go of what you can not control. If you want to win, do not pay attention and do not complain about what is not in your power. Some problems are best released. In regard to everything else, try to be strong enough to cope with all the difficulties.
It is not about how to ask the right questions to colleagues, clients and family members, the main thing - to ask the right questions of yourself.
The book contains many examples of the behavior of people who really know about personal responsibility. Their proactive behavior they solve other people's problems, and awareness of this very inspiring. I want to do something like that. Take more initiative, not to shift the responsibility on others, offer their assistance.
Because personal responsibility is needed in all areas of life, The QBQ method makes us better parents, spouses and friends.
