Redmi introduced its first projector: 100 inches in 1080p at an affordable price

In addition to the line Redmi Note 12, laptop Book Air 13 and tablet Redmi Pad Xiaomi sub-brand showed another gadget: the Redmi Smart Projector, available in regular and Pro versions. They are positioned as projectors for youth.

Both models display 1080p images from 40 to 100 inches with a 1.2:1 throw ratio. That is, to display the image in the maximum size, the gadget must stand about 3 meters from the projection surface. The maximum brightness is 150 ANSI Lumens.

Inside is an Amlogic T950D4 processor, complemented by 1.5 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory.

The differences between the models come down to the presence of autofocus in the older model: it will adjust the picture itself depending on the location of the projector, the basic Redmi Smart Projector will have to be adjusted manually. In terms of other characteristics and design, the devices are identical.

The projectors work on MIUI TV, Bluetooth 5.0 and dual-band Wi-Fi are provided for connection. The set of ports is modest: one each USB 2.0, HDMI ARC, DC (for power) and 3.5 mm. Dimensions are 129.5 × 117 × 179.4 mm, weight - 1.2 kg.

Redmi Smart Projector was priced at 999 yuan (≈8,500 rubles), the Pro version costs 1,299 yuan (≈11,100 rubles). Both versions will go on sale on October 31st.
