Anarchy Time: Major Grom: A Difficult Childhood Trailer Released

"Kinopoisk" during the presentation on October 12 announced the release date of the prequel "Major Grom" with the subtitle "Difficult childhood". The film will be released on January 1, 2023 at 20:23 Moscow time. A new trailer has also been unveiled.

The film tells about the childhood of the main character of the original film, Igor Grom. The main action will unfold 20 years before "plague doctor». According to the plot, Igor, together with his friend Ignat, is trying to earn a large amount of money and gets involved in a dubious adventure.

Igor Grom was played by Kai Getz. The script of the film was written by the authors of Bubble comics Artyom Gabrelyanov and Evgeny Fedotov, as well as Ekaterina Krasner. The director was Oleg Trofim, who shot The Plague Doctor.

Also, as part of the presentation, Kinopoisk presented a new adaptation of Boris Akunin's novel Azazel, a detective story about Tsarist Russia in an alternative 21st century. It will be released in January 2023 and will tell the story of 20-year-old Erast Fandorin (Vladislav Tiron), who is just starting his career in the detective police department.
