How to make croissants with ham and cheese: recipe

Beat one egg with a fork and pour into the crumbs, add milk with yeast and warm water. Knead into a soft and slightly sticky dough.
Mentally divide it into three equal parts. Bend the bottom third to the center and cover with the top third to make a narrow rectangle.
Turn the rectangle with the narrow side towards you, roll it out to make a square layer again. In the same way, fold and roll out the dough three more times.
Remove the dough from the refrigerator, roll it into a rectangular layer 3-4 mm thick. With a sharp knife, cut it into 8 equal rectangles.
Cut each rectangle in half diagonally. Cut the ham into thin slices, grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
Put some ham and cheese on the wide end of the triangles. Starting from the side with the filling, roll the triangles into rolls.
Place the croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, cover with a towel and leave to rise in a warm place for 45-60 minutes.
Preheat oven to 180°C. Beat the egg with a fork with 2 tablespoons of milk. Lubricate the dough. Bake croissants for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
Croissants can be sprinkled with dried herbs or sesame before baking.
