Xiaomi introduced Redmi Pad - a thin budget tablet on Android 12

You won't have to wait long for Google services: the international version was released right away.
Xiaomi has unveiled the Redmi Pad, the latest tablet to debut in India. He received a metal case with a thickness of 7.1 mm, a decent display and high-quality sound.
The tablet is equipped with a 10.6-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2K (2000 × 1200 pixels) and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. Four speakers with Dolby Atmos surround sound are responsible for high-quality sound. Also under the hood is a MediaTek Helio G99 processor with up to 6 GB of RAM.
The novelty also received an 8-megapixel main camera with autofocus and an 8-megapixel front camera with a field of view of up to 105 °. On models with 4 and 6 GB of RAM, the FocusFrame function will appear shortly after the release - it adjusts the frame to the user's movements. We have already seen something similar in the iPad with Center Stage.
Responsible for autonomy is a battery with a capacity of 8,000 mAh, which is enough for 21 hours of video playback or 12 hours of gaming. It supports 18W fast charging, and comes with a 22.5W charger.
The tablet comes with Android 12 and MIUI 13 skin. The manufacturer promises two major Android updates and three years of security and MIUI updates.
The Redmi Pad is available in grey, silver and mint green and is priced as follows:
- 3 / 64 GB - 12,999 rupees (≈9,400 rubles);
- 4 / 128 GB - 17,999 rupees (≈13,000 rubles);
- 6 / 128 GB - 19,999 rupees (≈14,500 rubles).
Sales will start in India on October 5, later the novelty will be released in other countries.
