In the campaign it is important not to miss the moment when the sun sets. Behind this can be monitored by different applications or timers, but the smartphone battery can suddenly sit up. For such cases, there is a very simple way of calculating the time until sunset, for which you only need your hands.

Turn your face to the sun and the palm of the hand to pull yourself and the fingers are arranged parallel to the horizon. The index is at or slightly below the sun, and the little finger - parallel to the edge of the horizon.

Count how many fingers did it take you to visually connect the horizon and the sun. Everyone shall be 15 minutes, but the whole arm - approximately one hour. If, using the fingers of the second hand and continue to be considered under the little finger still left the place to the horizon.

Note that the calculation may vary depending on geographic location. For example, in the tropics it darkens faster as the sun goes down at a right angle, and in the north - on the contrary.
