Astronomy Photographer of the Year 2022 Winners Announced

Photo of Comet Leonard took first place in the Astronomy Photographer of the Year competition held by the Royal Greenwich Observatory.

In total, more than 3,000 shots from photographers from 67 countries participated in the competition. The photographs of the winners will be presented at an exhibition at the National Maritime Museum in London, which will open on 17 September. Here are just a few of the works that will be shown there.
