A two-in-one device with a touch screen and solid autonomy.
HP Company introduced Specter X360 14-ef laptop with 12th generation Intel Core. This is an improved version of last year's Specter X360 14, which came with an Intel Core 11.
Thanks to the 180° hinge, it can be used as a tablet. Even without a removable keyboard, it is quite possible to take it with you: the aluminum case weighs 1.39 kg and has a thickness of 16.5 mm when folded.
Specter X360 14-ef comes in two versions: 4.7 GHz Intel Core i7-1255U, 16 GB RAM and 1 TB SSD or Core i5-1235U with 4.4 GHz and 8 GB of RAM, and SSD on 512 GB. In both cases, the 10-core processor is complemented by an Intel Iris Xe graphics accelerator.
The Core i7 model received a 13.5-inch OLED touch display with a resolution of 3K (3000 × 2000 pixels), an aspect ratio of 3:2 and a maximum brightness of 500 nits. The version with Core i5 has a simpler screen: an IPS panel with FHD + resolution (1920 × 1280 pixels). The display is protected from scratches by Gorilla Glass NBT with anti-reflective coating.
Impressive autonomy is one of the new features. The 66 Wh battery provides up to 16 hours of operation without recharging. Support for fast charging is present: a complete 65 W unit charges the Specter X360 up to 50% in just 45 minutes.
Also, the novelty received a powerful Bang & Olufsen audio system with four speakers, a 5 megapixel webcam and a fingerprint scanner. The list of connectors is basic: two Thunderbolt 4 plus USB-A 3.2 Gen 2, a slot for reading micro SD memory cards and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. For wireless connectivity, there is Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2.
The laptop comes with Windows 11 Pro. The prices are as follows:
- Intel Core i5, 512 GB SSD, FHD + screen - 9,999 yuan (≈85,700 rubles);
- Intel Core i7, 1 TB SSD, 3K screen - 12,999 yuan (≈111,400 rubles).
The novelty will go on sale in October, the exact timing of the start of deliveries depends on the region. In Russia, HP is now officially not represented.
