The first iPhone is 16 years old. Which model over the years do you consider the most successful?

On January 9, 2007, at the Macworld conference in San Francisco, Steve Jobs showed the world the first iPhone. It was a very compact machine with an aluminum back, a 3.5-inch screen, a 2 MP camera and a 1400 mAh battery.

The device did not support 3G and offered only an EDGE connection, which was already outdated at the time of its release, but nevertheless the device became revolutionary. He was called the best gadget of the year and a real breakthrough in the industry of pocket communicators.

Then, 16 years ago, the iPhone set the trend for touch screens and ease of content consumption. Now, almost every new Apple smartphone demonstrates some technology and features that other gadget manufacturers are eyeing.

With all this, not all iPhone models can be called successful and truly innovative. Some are bought literally for a year, until the next update in the fall, and some serve users for years.
