Cinemas in several Russian cities will start screenings of the blockbuster "Avatar: Path of Water» December 22. And it will be a full-fledged theatrical copy in 4K and with perfect dubbing, write "News".
According to the publication, so far only some regions have announced the imminent start. The Illusion network in Vladivostok, as well as some cinemas in Yakutsk, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Kazan and other cities, will start showing the picture before everyone else.
All screenings will be in 2D, with the exception of screenings in the Krasnoyarsk "Ray" - this is so far the only cinema in Russia that confirmed to Izvestia the release of the film in 3D.
As for the residents of the capital, for them practically the only opportunity to see the James Cameron blockbuster is to take a closer look at the cinemas near Moscow in small towns. In large networks, the new Avatar will either not be shown until January 12, or the film will not be shown at all, since it does not have a rental certificate and cannot be due to Disney leaving Russia.
It is noted that pirated copies of the film or the so-called screens appeared in Runet last week. Therefore, cinemas decided not to delay the release, although earlier there were reports on the Web about the release of the picture only in January.
