Chrome has officially added new memory-saving and low-power modes that appeared in Canary at the end of October. The former hibernates unused tabs, while the latter simplifies visuals and disables background refresh to keep laptops running longer.
Both innovations will be available in Chrome on Windows, macOS and ChromeOS in the coming weeks, release dates on Linux have not yet been announced. Getting new features can be accelerated. For this:
