Central Partnership has released the final trailer for the film "We", based on the novel of the same name by Yevgeny Zamyatin. The book was one of the first dystopias, inspiring a number of other works of the genre, including Orwell's 1984 and Huxley's Brave New World.
The film takes place in the United State. It was formed by survivors of a catastrophe that happened 200 years ago, which destroyed almost all of humanity. Residents have abandoned emotions, weaknesses, and even names: instead, everyone has a serial number, a uniform, and housing in a glass house. The protagonist D-503 is happy to live in this system - until he gets acquainted with the mysterious I-330, discovering strange and unacceptable emotions and feelings in society, and finds out that there is resistance.
The film was played by: Yegor Koreshkov, Elena Podkaminskaya, Philip Yankovsky, Yuri Kolokolnikov, Sofia Donianz, Dmitry Chebotarev, Maryana Spivak and Andrey Rebenkov. Directed by Hamlet Dulyan.
Initially, the film was supposed to be released last fall, but the release was eventually postponed to December 1.
