Working neural networks for video creation
This section contains already existing services based on neural networks. They are designed to generate videos based on text descriptions and ready-made media materials. Such tools have their limitations and will not allow you to collect large-scale animated films. However, assistants can be used at work to diversify, for example, your presentations or convert text recordings into videos for social networks.
1. Visper
This service from Sberbank has been operating for a couple of years and is gradually developing. Visper is a neural network tool for creating presentation videos with virtual characters.
Here you can customize the appearance of the presenter, choose the style of speech, add gestures to the video to place accents. The background can also be customized - find a ready-made one or upload your own version in the form of an image or video. As input for the video, you can use text or a ready-made presentation in PDF format.
You can create free monthly videos with a duration of 2 minutes and with a watermark. A subscription for 1,490 rubles per month allows you to generate videos up to 20 minutes. There is also an option with a payment of 90 rubles per minute, if you do not want to issue a permanent tariff.

2. Synthesia
Synthesia is another virtual character service that can generate video content based on text. For voice acting, it is proposed to choose options from a list of ready-made avatars. They look quite realistic, their synthetic nature compared to live speakers is still noticeable, but this does not distract from viewing.
There is no free mode here. A $30 Personal subscription gives you access to dozens of avatars and templates, hundreds of voiceover languages, and more. To work with large projects, there is a Corporate tariff. It includes additional avatars, templates with the user's brand and many additional services for the preparation of high-quality videos.

3. Designs.ai
The Designs.ai neural network allows you to create not only videos, but also banners, logos, design for social media posts, voice acting and text. With the help of the service, it will be possible to generate content that can be customized to your needs with text queries. The source can be either a short description or a long script or article.
For social networks, ready-made videos can be adjusted to the specific formats of each application. This is useful for a personal page and advertising campaigns. The Basic subscription costs $29/month, and for larger projects, there's a Pro plan for $69/month. In the second case, users can generate more items of material, as well as download project drafts and export storyboards in the format PDF.

4. Fliki
Fliki helps you turn scripts, articles, and blog posts into videos. The visual part can be supplemented with automatic voice acting with realistic voices. The Russian language is also supported in it.
In the project, you can edit each element that was originally generated by the neural network: customize the background, select stock images, video and music, add text captions. The free plan allows you to create a video up to 5 minutes in 720p resolution. At a paid rate for $ 28 per month, you can generate up to 180 minutes of Full-HD video.

5. Lumen5
Lumen5 is similar to the previous service in its capabilities. Here, the neural network is also used to generate video based on text. You can add introductory information manually or simply paste a link to an article on the Internet. The service automatically collects the project from stock materials and user signatures.
For design, you can choose ready-made templates, and then fine-tune individual elements. If the suggestions of the neural network do not seem very successful to you, then you should look for pictures, videos, icons, music and visual effects manually.
The service for testing offers a free mode in which you can export videos from watermark and in 720p resolution. The $19/month Basic subscription removes the Lumen5 label, but the quality of the files remains the same. To access all features, you will need to use the Starter plan for $79/month or the Professional plan for $199/month.

6. Pictory
Pictory can become an alternative to the previous services. It also generates videos with stock footage and captions based on scenarios or short descriptions.
In Pictory, you can create not only video sequences, but also pictures and GIF animation. The tool is best suited for designers, marketers and SMM specialists.
On a free plan, you can generate three videos as a test. For $23 per month, you can make up to 30 videos. Also, with a subscription, voice acting of texts, a large selection of background music and the ability to save your own templates for projects are available.

Pilot projects for video production
These systems are not yet available to a wide audience, developers are testing them behind closed doors. But from them you can get an idea of what opportunities will soon appear in video editors for amateurs and professionals.
1. Runway Gen-2
Runway is developing a modification of the Stable Diffusion neural network with support for the Gen-2 language model. This system allows you to generate new videos only by text description, based on pictures or from ready-made records.
With the help of this system, in the future it will be possible to create feature films, animation, videos for social networks, educational materials. System testing continues, you can already send a request for access in closed mode. For a wide range of users, Gen-2 is likely to open as early as 2023.

2. image video
Imagen Video is one of Google's neural networks. The system is capable of creating video at resolutions up to 1280 × 768 pixels at 24 frames per second based on a text description. AI works on the basis of a diffusion model. The original images are first blurred, and then the system learns and restores these frames from the noise. Imagen Video also includes resolution and quality enhancement techniques. output video.

3. Phenaki
Another model from Google. It is capable of generating more realistic and accurate on-demand videos, but cannot yet do so in high definition. The developers are considering using Phenaki in conjunction with Imagen Video for the ultimate tool. At the moment, there is no information about when the neural network will be released to the public for testing.

4. dreamix
Dreamix is also developed by specialists from Google Research. The neural network can edit finished videos on a text request, adding new elements or completely redrawing them. It is best suited for animating still images or replacing objects in a frame. So far, the algorithm works only in low quality with low resolution.
