But it is possible that these are just translation difficulties.
Spider-Man's Tom Holland has earned a reputation as a man who can't keep his mouth shut. It was he who accidentally revealed the presence of several Spiders in "No way home». Now Hugh Jackman is following in his footsteps.
Recently, he has repeatedly revealed during interviews details about the upcoming Deadpool 3, where will play Wolverine. All this can be considered important plot twists, so we do not recommend reading further if you want to get the maximum emotions from the film when it does come out.
Warning: spoilers ahead!
At the end of last year, Jackman already mentionedthat his appearance in the film without the sacrifice of Logan's ending would be aided by some kind of time travel device that would allow his character to move between different timelines. This move was needed by the creators to bring Deadpool and Wolverine into the main Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Now, during a new interview for the publication Le Parisien
(excerpts from it are given The Direct) Jackman confirmed that he will play Wolverine in the upcoming film with Ryan Reynolds, with this line:Yes, and it will even be a double role. Ryan and I have been friends for 20 years, and working together brings a lot of fun. We will start filming this summer.

"Double Role" immediately brought up discussion that Jackman would play two versions of Wolverine in the same film. But it may also be an incorrect translation from French: perhaps we are talking about a "pair role" - that is, a reference to working with Reynolds. According to rumors, the Wolverines in the film will be no less important than Deadpool himself, so the phrase about the double main role is not without meaning.
However, given Marvel's craving for the multiverse in recent years, the theory of several Wolverines has the right to life. Moreover, the main villain of the film will be Kang the Conqueror, who can control time, so one of Jackman's earlier Wolverines is quite likely to appear. Whether they will work together with the modern version of the hero is a question that we are unlikely to answer in the near future.
The Network also believes that the storyline with Kang can be used to return Tony Stark, who died in the Avengers: Endgame movie, to the MCU.
