The forum “Scientists against myths. Search on the third planet!”

On April 29 and 30 Moscow will host the scientific forum “Scientists against myths. Search on the third planet! For two days, biologists, astronomers and popularizers of science will destroy myths and fight common misconceptions.

April 30 will be a cosmo day with relevant speech topics. Among them:

• Trying to grasp the immensity: where do attempts to understand the structure of the Universe lead?
• Stars and their exotic relatives: myths about supernovae, stellar evolution and black holes.
• "Stones that cannot fall from the sky": myths about meteorites.
• Hubble, James Webb... who's next and how will the telescope race end?

The forum program also includes unique master classes by experts, exhibitions, answers to video questions spectators, a demonstration of a new sculptural reconstruction of a Neanderthal man by Valentin Popov, and much more other.

The forum will take place in person at the MISIS University hall at Leninsky Prospekt, d. 4 (art. metro station Oktyabrskaya-Koltsevaya), as well as online all over the world.
