Samsung may release the first dust-resistant foldable smartphone this summer

South Korean company Samsung is developing a next-generation hinge for the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5. It will make smartphones completely dustproof. About it on Twitter reported insiders.

The new hinge is supposed to allow the two halves of the phone to close more tightly and thus keep out debris and small particles. In addition, it will reduce the visibility of the crease on the screen and make the smartphone thinner when closed.

The same insider previously reported that the Galaxy Z Fold5 will be about 10 grams lighter than its predecessor. Galaxy Z Fold4. Thus, the weight of new items can be about 250 grams.
