Check the data from the stickers
Often, manufacturers add stickers to marketing stickers with logos of processors and video cards indicating the series and exact model of the laptop. As a rule, they are located on the back wall, but they can also be in front, next to the keyboard.
Read the stickers carefully. If the inscriptions are erased and are not readable, try to drive into the search engine those fragments that are distinguishable.
Examine the documentation and packaging
In the presence of check, warranty card, instructions or box, it is easy to determine the laptop model and serial number. If any of this has been preserved, then just look for the data you are interested in in the specified documentation.
Check the battery label
Model, serial and other information, as a rule, is duplicated on battery laptop. Therefore, if it is removable, you can search for data on it.
Remove the battery by sliding the latches and carefully pull it out. You must first shut down the computer and turn off the power.
Inspect the battery and look for the model name. If it is not explicitly indicated, try to google the symbols and codes available in the marking.
