Movies by Quentin Tarantino known for their dialogue: he writes every line of the script so that any word has weight, humor is created without obvious jokes, and tension arises from pure silence. In Pulp Fiction, the dialogues also link the scenes together - this is important, because the chronology is broken in the film.

Each of the characters is smart and quick-witted, and therefore ulterior motives and reticences are felt in the remarks. But the main thing is the alternation of drama and the functionality of the dialogues, which sets the pace for the story.

For example, a comedian constantly speaks inconsistently and cannot always explain his thoughts properly because of this - this is a classic director's trick. Lively speech, combined with important words, made the film a cult one.

It's impossible to make a list of movies with the best dialogue and not include "Reservoir Dogs». The conversations here demonstrate the essence of criminals, who are characterized by the same thing as ordinary people. They argue about Madonna's songs, discuss tips and tell stories about their deeds. This distinguishes them from the standard action heroes who live, as it were, apart from the whole world.

"Seven Psychopaths" is Martin McDonagh's most striking and absurd film. Throughout the whole picture, the characters only do what they say: they argue about philosophy, remember their youth and swear over trifles. Even the final battle turns out to be a place for statements.

Kevin Smith's script for "Party People" deservedly gained special love among fans of his work. The detailed dialogue between the two slackers makes the film especially comical. Jay and Silent Bob are present in the picture - their lines always differed by quotes.
10. Lighthouse

The dialogue between the two main characters transforms as the film progresses: they touch on a variety of topics, and each time the discussion changes style. In one scene, the characters sympathize with each other, and in the next they try to hurt the interlocutor as much as possible.
