Huawei has released FreeBuds 5 headphones with an unusual shape and Hi-Res Audio

Huawei has officially unveiled a rather unusual TWS headphones Free Buds 5. According to the form factor, these are the so-called inserts a la AirPods - they do not have silicone tips. However, their drop-shaped stem makes the accessory truly original, unlike other similar headphones.

According to the manufacturer, this shape makes FreeBuds 5 not only memorable in appearance, but also comfortable to wear for any shape of the auricle. Headphones will not fall out and once again remind you of yourself.

11mm drivers and Bass Sound Pressure Turbo technology are responsible for the sound quality. The developers promise rich sound and deep bass. Also announced is support for L2HC and LDAC codecs, active noise reduction, Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification and support for surround sound.

The headphones themselves are protected from moisture and dust according to the IP54 standard. In terms of autonomy, up to 5 hours of use without noise reduction and 3.5 hours with it are declared. With recharge from the case, you can get 30 and 20 hours, respectively. 5 minutes of recharge gives 2 hours of listening to music. Bluetooth 5.2 is used to pair with the source.

Huawei FreeBuds 5 will be available in three colors - black, white and coral. The price of the headphones was 899 yuan (≈10,100 rubles). So far, the accessory is being released in China, but later it will appear outside of it.
