Garmin unveils its first AMOLED running smartwatch

Two models at once: flagship and more affordable.
Garmin has announced two new GPS-enabled running smartwatches, the Forerunner 965 and 265. They are the first in the series to receive AMOLED screens with Always On support.
A more affordable version of the Forerunner 265 is available in 46mm, and there is also a 42mm version called the Forerunner 265S. Both screens are 1.3 inches. The larger model provides 24 hours of battery life when using GPS or 15 days when connected to a smartphone, the younger one has 20 hours and 13 days, respectively.
Both options are equipped with a pulse oximeter (Garmin Pulse Ox) and are able to track the quality of sleep, stress levels, as well as the user's energy level. The last feature is a Garmin feature that gives advice on how your body is ready for training: the watch they will tell you when it is worth giving everything to the fullest, and when it is better to do with light exercises and not overstress. The watch also provides a V02 Max cardio endurance rating. For women, the device will help track the menstrual cycle and pregnancy.
Forerunner 965 is a more premium model with a 1.4-inch (47mm) screen. Here autonomy reaches 31 hours in GPS mode or 23 days without it. She also received a titanium bezel.
In addition to all the features of Forerunner 265, the load factor is supported here (the ratio between an athlete's training load and what it can handle), real-time endurance information and more accurate tracking for mountaineering and climbing. There are also full maps and additional storage for music.
Forerunner 265 and 265S are already on sale for $450 (≈33,900 rubles), Forerunner 965 will be released later in March and will cost $600 (≈45,100 rubles).
