Huawei introduced the flagship P60 and P60 Pro with advanced cameras

Huawei held a presentation of a new series of flagship smartphones P60. It consists of three models: base, P60 Pro and P60 Art. The main feature of the first two was the new color "White Rococo", but first things first.

Huawei P60

Due to US sanctions, Huawei cannot use 5G, so the flagship runs on a special version of the Qualcomm chipset - Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ 4G. The 6.67-inch OLED screen has a slight curve on all sides. Its resolution is 2700 × 1220 pixels, the refresh rate is variable from 1 to 120 Hz.

According to the manufacturer, the camera continues the design philosophy of the Huawei P series and refers to the appearance of classic cameras. The 48 MP main camera supports variable aperture (f/1.4-f/4.0) and optical image stabilization. There is also an ultra-wide-angle module (13 MP, f / 2.2) and a 12 MP periscope with 5x optical and 100x digital zoom.

The smartphone meets the IP68 dust and water resistance standard. The screen is protected by Kunlun glass, just like the previous generation. Out of the box, the smartphone runs on HarmonyOS 3.1.

It uses a 4,810mAh battery and supports 66W fast wired charging. Wireless is also available: 50 W normal and 7.5 W reverse to power accessories.

The smartphone will be available in four colors: black, purple, dark green and the unique "White Rococo" with mother-of-pearl texture. It is claimed that due to the creation process, the back panel of each smartphone will be unique.

Huawei P60 Pro

This smartphone is very similar to the regular P60: the same processor, curved display, even two of the three cameras are identical. But the periscope is different: it is already at 48 megapixels, with a focal length of 10 cm, 3.5x optical and 200x digital zoom. There is also a laser focus sensor.

The battery has the same capacity of 4,810 mAh, but the maximum wired charging power is already 88 watts. Wireless charging capabilities are identical: 50W normal, 7.5W reverse.

The colors are the same as the base model.

Huawei P60 Art

This is a top-end variant that differs from previous models in the design of the rear panel, camera and battery.

The creators of the smartphone turned to the concept of "camera island" and made a module inspired by the islands. Hence the asymmetrical shape and colors under the marine theme. The main camera and periscope are the same as in the P60 Pro, but the ultra-wide-angle module has been improved to a resolution of 40 megapixels.

The battery capacity has been increased to 5,100 mAh, charging options are similar to the Pro version. It is noteworthy that this is a silicon-carbon battery, as in Honor Magic 5 Pro. This technology allows you to make the battery more capacious with smaller dimensions. This is clearly seen in the P60 series smartphones: they have identical batteries and body sizes, while the battery of the Art model offers almost 300 mAh more.

Huawei P60 Art will be available in blue and beige colors.

Prices and Availability

In China, pre-orders are already open, the P60 and P60 Pro will go on sale on March 30, the Art version will be released on April 7. The prices are:
