Huawei introduced the TalkBand B7 fitness tracker with a built-in headset

Huawei has announced a new hybrid gadget, the TalkBand B7 smart bracelet with a detachable Bluetooth earpiece.

The device received a 1.53-inch curved AMOLED display with a resolution of 460 × 188 pixels. The case, in which the capsule with the earpiece itself is placed, is made of stainless steel. To remove the capsule, there are two buttons on the sides that must be pressed simultaneously.

To work in headphone mode, the device has a speaker and two microphones. Microphones and a noise reduction algorithm are designed to highlight the voice and cut off unnecessary sounds during a conversation.

Otherwise, the capabilities of the bracelet are typical for its class: heart rate sensors, pulse oximeter, sleep tracking options, stress level and menstrual cycle. The gadget also offers advanced monitoring of heart health, fixing atrial fibrillation and apnea in a dream.

10 sport modes are supported, as well as VO2 Max (evaluation of the level of cardio endurance), special scientifically based running workouts and sedentary reminders life.

Traditional features like music and camera control, quick responses to messages and contactless payment are present - however, in the Chinese version, you can only pay through AliPay.

Responsible for performance is the Huawei Kirin A1 processor. You can connect the bracelet to any smartphone running HarmonyOS 2.0, Android 7, iOS 9.0 or later.

The 120 mAh battery provides about two days of battery life, USB-C is used for recharging.

Huawei TalkBand B7 with a silicone strap was priced at 999 yuan (≈11,100 rubles), a model with a leather bracelet costs 1,199 yuan (≈13,400 rubles). Sales in China will start on March 30.
