Pokémon Sleep, a free Pokémon sleep tracker introduced
Miscellaneous / / April 02, 2023
Nintendo has finally revealed details about the Pokémon Sleep app, which the company first teased back in 2019. Initially, the release was planned for 2020, but due to the pandemic, nothing was heard about it for almost four years.
Basically, Pokémon Sleep is a sleep tracker with game mechanics. If you place your smartphone with Pokémon Sleep next to your pillow at night, you will receive a sleep session report with a phase graph in the morning.
The program will also assign a type to your dream, and other Pokemon of the same type will gradually appear next to the starting Snorlax in the application. There are even rare ones that most players are unlikely to encounter.
Together with the app, the Pokémon Go Plus+ gadget was announced. This is an improved version of the regular Go Plus that not only brings physical activity to Pokémon Go, but also helps you track your sleep more accurately in Pokémon Sleep with additional sensors. In fact, the device acts as a replacement for smart watches.
Pikachu lives inside: his voice is heard when turning the sleep session on and off. He also sings lullabies and acts as an alarm clock.
Pokémon Sleep is expected to release on iOS and Android this summer. Pokémon Go Plus+ will go on sale in July.
