The headset has learned to adjust the sound on the go.
British company Nothing, founded by OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei, introduced flagship wireless headphones Ear (2). The novelty has retained the branded "transparent" design predecessor, but received several improvements.
The noise reduction level remained unchanged - up to 40 dB. However, now the headset is able to adapt to the external environment and quickly change the sound settings. For example, in strong winds.
The sound itself can be adjusted to your hearing and tastes. In the updated application Nothing X the intensity of the noise reduction is adjusted, as well as the parameters of the equalizer and the personal sound profile - it is determined after a quick test before activating the headset.
The headset is equipped with a 33 mAh battery. A full charge should last for four hours with noise cancellation and 6 hours and 20 minutes without it. And the battery life with the charging case has increased to 36 hours (the first model had 34 hours).
The complete case received a 485 mAh battery, as well as protection against dust and water splashes (like the headphones themselves) of IP54 level (the first model had a lower IPx4 standard). The case can be charged via USB-C (10W) or wirelessly (2.5W).
Among other features, the company notes support for the LHDC 5.0 audio codec, which allows you to stream Hi-Res audio, upgraded 11.6mm drivers for a better listening experience, and the ability to connect to multiple devices.
Nothing Ear (2) was priced at $149 (11,466 rubles). They will go on sale on March 28, but you can already issue pre-order. Headphones will be available only in white.
