South Korea develops technology to communicate with dead people

The neural network is able to create a digital copy of a person based on photos and videos from social networks alone.
South Korean company DeepBrain AI introduced Re; memory, which allows you to communicate with deceased relatives via video link. The service is paid and not cheap.
The neural network creates a digital copy based on photos and videos from the deceased’s social networks, as well as a short interview with the person’s relatives. After that, you can choose one of two options for meeting with him: a video message or a real-time conversation, writes Entrepreneur.
The "otherworldly date" takes place in a special room with a 400-inch screen and high-quality sound equipment. This creates the effect of live communication, the company notes.
In addition, you can create your digital copy during your lifetime. To do this, the neural network requires only seven hours of communication with the client, during which it studies the habits and character, and also records the appearance, communication style and voice of the client.
Creating a digital clone costs 10,000 - 20,000 pounds (900,000 - 1.8 million rubles). A communication session will cost another 1,000 pounds (90,000 rubles).
The company's development manager, Joseph Murphy, acknowledges that the service raises many questions. But he thinks it's necessary.
Some people like the opportunity to live forever this way, but many people think it's wrong. Re; memory is best for people with terminal illnesses, such as cancer, who may spend several hours in front of the camera so that the program can learn the behavior and collect voice data to create a digital copies.
