Then click "Save As" and select the desired folder.
Select PDF as the file type and "Minimum size" for optimization.

2. View
IN macOS open the document in the standard "View", and then click "File" → "Export ...".
Set the save location. Select the PDF format, the Reduce File Size filter, and click Save.
How to reduce the size of a PDF file offline on a smartphone
Mobile apps are full of ads and rarely provide a compression feature in the free version, so we recommend using online services on smartphones. Moreover, they work well on different devices. However, here are a couple of alternatives just in case.
1. Small PDF
Tap on the plus and select Add from files.
Find the desired PDF file and open it, then select Compress… from the application menu.
Specify the compression level (only basic is available in the free version) and wait a bit. The finished file will appear on the main tab, from where it can be copied to another application through the "Share" menu.
