As part of a big interview with Entertainment Weekly, the head of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige told about the future of the cinematic universe, noting the continuation of the story Spiderman. The writers are already working on the plot for a new solo film with Tom Holland.

Feige did not share plot details, but did mention that they "have big ideas" for the film. What did the head of Marvel mean, will Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire return, and will the Spider be connected with the new fifth phase the cinematic universe - so far we can only guess.

Feige was also asked about Blade, starring Mahershala Ali, which is due out next year. And, according to him, the project has moved forward - filming will begin in the next couple of months. Jan Demange, who directed the first episode of Lovecraft Country, will direct.

They did not disregard the Deadpool triquel, which really will appear Wolverine by Hugh Jackman. Feige has confirmed that this will be the MCU's first MCU film with an adult R rating.

As for the future development of the MCU, Feige noted that the mainstay of the MCU in the near future will be the Fantastic Four, which will also be introduced soon. A separate film will be devoted to this team of heroes, but it will probably be possible to see them in many other projects. Perhaps this will be the basis of the new Avengers.
