WhatsApp on Android now lets you hide your online status

In the beta version of the updated WhatsApp messenger, they discovered the ability to hide their online status and last visit data from all contacts. About it writes WABetainfo portal.

Judging by the screenshot from the application, advanced settings will be available to users, allowing them to choose who will have access to the activity data in the messenger. The status can be hidden both from all contacts, and only from certain people.

To do this, in the "Account" section, go to the "Privacy" item and select the desired option. When you hide online information about your account, the user will no longer be able to view similar data on other profiles.

A new feature was found in messenger version 2.22.20.9 for Android devices. Previously, a similar opportunity has already tested on iOS. The timing of the appearance in the stable version of the messenger has not yet been reported, but the release is probably close.
